Who should attend the Leadership Academy?
The Leadership Academy is designed for professionals from the manager to executive level, who are committed to self-development, driving innovation, and instilling positive change in their organizations. During the session leaders will challenge their current leadership style and explore new skills and techniques which will allow them to advance in their career and have their teams follow them differently.
How do I register for the Leadership Excellence Summit?
To register using a credit card click here, which will take you to our Eventbrite page. If you have questions regarding registration or would prefer a different payment method, please reach out to Lena Baer, Director of the Brainard Strategy Leadership Academy, at lbaer@brainardstrategy.com or by phone at (760) 438-8230. For group registrations of three or more attendees, email Lena Baer at lbaer@brainardstrategy.com with each registrant’s name and contact information (address, email, phone number). Please include a purchase order and/or contact information for payment. Group invoices will be sent, but individual confirmations will not be issued until payment is received.
When are the Leadership Labs scheduled to begin?
Registration will open at 8:30 AM. We will begin the morning with breakfast and open networking where you’ll get the opportunity to connect with leaders across industries. At 9 AM, we will dive into the session, which combines instructor-led learning, peer discussions, and break-out activities, concluding with a Q&A session.
Is there any pre-work for the program?

Yes. In advance of the session, we would like you to complete an emotional intelligence assessment. Emotional intelligence is a set of emotional and social skills that collectively establish how well we:

    • Perceive and express ourselves
    Develop and maintain social relationships
    Cope with challenges
    Use emotional information in an effective and meaningful way

Please plan to complete the assessment by May 11, 2018. You will be provided with your assessment results once you arrive at the session. How much does the Summit cost?

Enrollment in Leadership Excellence Summit can be purchased at $5,500 per participants. Take advantage of our early bird special rate and purchase admission at $4,950 per enrollment by booking by March 31, 2018, or at $5,225 per enrollment if booked by April 30, 2018.

Admission includes a rigorous, innovative, custom-designed 3.5 day program, being led by instructors, facilitators, and keynote speakers from multiple industries. Additionally, you will gain great value from participating in an Emotional Intelligence self-assessment, networked peer learning, social activities outside of the program, and dedicated program support by Lena Baer, Director of the Brainard Strategy Leadership Academy. Please consult the detailed agenda for further information on meal provisions.

What is the dress code?

The recommended dress code is smart casual. We want you to feel comfortable attending our conference.

If you are interested in joining our social morning activities (running, yoga, etc.), please bring appropriate attire. Remember that the conference will be taking place in the beautiful Southern California, with close proximity to the beach, so don’t forget your sunglasses.

How can I connect with other attendees prior to or post the event?
Our purpose when designing the Leadership Excellence Summit, was not only to bring to you the leading-edge thinking in leadership development but also to create an opportunity for leaders to interact, network, build relationships and experiences with other leaders from across industries and disciplines. As a component of the program, we will be launching a social network of all registered attendees. This online community will allow for knowledge-sharing, discussion threads, and connectivity with your program peers post-attendance of the Summit. The online community will continue to grow its alumni network with each Summit event and will be frequently plenished with thought-provoking articles and videos by the Brainard Strategy Leadership Academy.
Who should I contact if I have special dietary needs or allergies?

Do you offer special Leadership Excellence Summit hotel rates?
Yes, once you have registered, we will provide you with a link to book your stay with our corporate ratePlease be advised that the discounted hotel rooms are limited and are handed out on a first come, first serve basis.

What if I change my mind or I cannot make it?

To receive a full refund, cancellations must be made via Eventbrite or in writing via email to academy@brainardstrategy.com no later than March 31, 2018. Refunds will not be given for cancellations that occur under 14 days prior to the start of the event. A per-ticket cancellation fee of 5% is assessed for a cancellation received between April 1, 2018 and 14 days out from the start of the event.


You may substitute another individual for the same event date without incurring a cancellation fee. Please email Lena Baer at lbaer@brainardstrategy.com or academy@brainardstrategy.com for more information. Cancellation notifications via social media (e.g., posting on our Facebook page or a tweet) are not acceptable. Please ensure you receive confirmation of your cancellation.
What is your cancellation policy?

Refunds will not be given for cancellations that occur under 30 days prior to the start of the event.
